The Parkville hospital disability identifier electronic questionnaire was co-designed with consumers – ensuring person-centred care, strengthening data for improved policy and clinical practices and influencing disability care across Victoria.

Northern Health – Creating a sustainable and climate resilient health system
NH reduced measured carbon emissions by 70 tonnes from 2022 to 2023. They are ranked number one in Victoria for energy efficiency and have advanced virtual care models and digital health programs to create a healthier, more sustainable community.

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Western Health, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital – Excellence in value-based healthcare
The ‘Regional Approach to Enhanced Recovery After Surgery and Prehabilitation’ project has improved surgical care across five hospitals, benefiting over 800 patients, demonstrating cost-effectiveness and is now integrated into regular practice.

St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne – Celebrating a strong and sustainable workforce
In collaboration with MACH and University of Melbourne, the ‘Boosting our Healthcare Workforce Clinical Supervision Program’ addressed COVID-19 disruptions by increasing student placements and enhancing workforce capacity through formal qualifications for clinical supervisors.

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre – Premier’s Large Health Service of the Year
A great recognition of Peter Mac’s 75 years of pioneering cancer treatment, care, research and education.

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre – Safer Care Victoria award for safety improvement
Peter Mac’s 6-bed Enhanced Care Unit provides critical monitoring and support for deteriorating oncology patients, improving patient safety, outcomes and experience, while enhancing bed access at the RMH ICU and reducing surgery cancellations.

Austin Health and Swan Hill District Health – Partnering in healthcare
The I-HEART project aimed to improve access to heart failure care by co-developing clinical decision tools and a virtual clinic, reducing hospitalisations and saving lives for patients with heart failure.
